I share a birthday with Syd Barrett, just wanted to say that. :)

Such a shame that when a lot of people think of Pink Floyd, the name Syd Barrett does not come into mind.The man IS Pink Floyd, he just chose to step back and walk away from it all.

I hope this best of will introduce many to the great mind of Syd Barrett, though it was not always all there, thanks to "Lucy in the sky with diamonds" (LSD).
