Blue Cheer - Vincebus Eruptum

Some say when it comes to trios in rock, only Cream and The Jimi Hendrix Experience are better.

I don't know if they are that good, you be the judge, but it was said that Blue Cheer (who got it's name from a type of LSD) rock so hard they turn air into cottage cheese.

That's a lot to live up to, but 1968's Vincebus Eruptum does come damn close.

1.- Summertime Blues
2.- Rock Me Baby
3.- Doctor Please
4.- Out of Focus
5.- Parchment Farm

Jim Morrison - Dec 8

James Douglas Morrison, better known as Jim Morrison was born December 8, 1943.

For the pass few years I every morning lay on my bed and listen to The Doors nonstop.
I do this on his birthday, rather than the day he died.

Velvet Underground - Legendary Guitar Amp Tapes

Lou fuckin' Reed
What more do I need to say, just Lou fuckin' Reed.

So the story goes, a fan recorded the shows directly through Lou's guitar amp.

Vocals? Not in this bootleg sir.Though some of Reed's vocals do manage to somehow be heard, it's all music with Lou's guitar playing leading the way.

So the result? Classic VU tunes turn into out of this world loud instrumentals.

Tracks
1. I Can't Stand It
2. Candy Says
3. I'm Waiting For The Man
4. Ferry Boat Bill
5. I'm Set Free
6. What Goes On
7. White Light/White Heat
8. Beginning To See The Light
9. Jesus
10. Heroin/Sister Ray
11. Move Right In
